News from Revd Simon
Please find some important news regarding Revd Simon.
This morning (July 6th 2025) the news was shared around the Benefice that our Priest-in-Charge, the Revd Simon Richardson, has been appointed as Chaplain of Bancroft’s School in Woodford Green, Essex/NE London. His last service in the Benefice will be the service planned for August 31st at 11am at St Ethelbert’s Church, Wretham, when Simon will preside at the Holy Communion and preach for the last time as Priest-in-Charge.
Please pray for him and Tyrone as they prepare a huge new change in their lives; for Josh, Beth and family as Josh takes on the role of leadership during the ensuing vacancy; and for Churchwardens and others who will shortly begin the search for, hopefully, the first Rector of the Harling and Guiltcross Benefice.
